Many years ago they came, forever altering the future of humanity.
In the early twenty-first century an alien species called the Taelons arrive on Earth, wishing to share knowledge and claiming to be companions of humanity. As world leaders welcome these aliens, they help with some of humanity's most important problems: war, famine, disease. All seems well and the Taelons ask nothing in return but our friendship.
But some are suspicious of the Taelons, and form a resistance movement to learn the true intentions. They soon find out these 'companions' are not as innocent as they appear.
